AHL’s PM and VOC Air Pollution Control System Installations range from complete plant-wide system integration, to system add-on & retrofit, to engineering and design of upgrades to meet evolving emissions requirements.
Waste gas pollutants we have addressed include: airborne particulate matter, acid mist, volatile organic hydrocarbons, inorganic gases, and combinations of these hazardous air pollutants.
Our industrial air pollution control system design and capabilities include source collection, transport, gas conditioning, and destruction/recovery of the pollutants.

AHL’s Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (Wet ESP) system provides a state-of-the-art solution to the highest possible efficiency in the collection of:
- – sub-micron particulate
- – fumes
- – condensable organic aerosols
- – acid mist
AHL’s Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs) and Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizers (RCOs) are a proven economical and energy-efficient family of technologies designed to destroy VOCs.
We also offer Direct-fired Oxidizers (DFOs) for effective disposal of waste gas streams in the pulp and paper industry.
AHLS has 60 years of experience with collection, conditioning, and destruction of all types of waste gases across a broad spectrum of process industries. We are the leading supplier of noncondensable gas (NCG) collection systems in the pulp and paper industry and experts in biogas and landfill gas capture and utilization.
AHLS designs and supplies:
– Venturi Scrubbers to remove particulate matter from air streams;
– Packed-bed Scrubbers to absorb gaseous components of the air stream;
– Spray Tower Scrubbers to absorb gaseous components where particulate or fouling are also of concern.
